Summary: The Tower Tech II will have existing knowledge of maintenance, installation, and decommission of cellular tower components, such as coaxial cable, antennas, radios, fiber optical cable, DC power cables, and broadcast equipment for cell phones. The Tower Tech II will have operating knowledge and experience in the wireless industry.

This position is deemed “safety sensitive.”

Essential Functions:
- Maintain, install, and decommission cellular tower components such as coaxial cable, antennas, radios, fiber optic cable, DC power cable, and broadcast equipment for cell phones.
- Installation/de-installation of transmission lines, connectors, antennas, and accessories.
- Maintain an understanding for color coding, weather proofing, grounding, etc., as it pertains to the Scope of Work on hand.
- (lightly) Read and interpret various construction documents including construction drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications, to ensure proper installation of equipment.
- Generate a “punch list” and resolution during normal project schedules.
- Perform grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads. Cad welding (as required).
- Effectively provide the overall project on groundwork, including crew work, on maintenance of equipment or vehicles.
- Follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local turf vendor, etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner.
- Work in a team environment on the crew and be a valued member of the team/company.
- Travel when required

- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Qualifications:
Valid Driver’s License (Required)
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Requested)
Ability to pass a Drug Screening (Required)
First Aid / CPR (Requested)
Six months to 1-year previous relevant experience (Required)
