Description

We are looking for a team that has experience in the tower antenna replacement field. This project is located throughout the Southeastern United States. The team will include a Project Foreman, a Top Hand , and two Tower Hands.

  • Involves being the senior / lead climber & technician in the crew.
  • Responsible for tower top operations which included but are not limited to the following functions:
  • Radio installation
  • Antenna installation
  • Fiber optic connections
  • Connectorization of RF jumpers
  • Identification of RFDS elements and implementation at the top
  • Troubleshooting & Support for commission / integration tasks
  • Responsible for managing and training (1) junior crew field staff member who will assist you in the tower top
  • Position requires the following qualities:

Requirements:

  • Authorized Rescue Climber Certification (We can re-certify)
  • Rescue Climber Certification
  • OSHA Certification
  • Basic Plus
  • CPR Certifications
  • Must have experience as a Tower Top Lead Climber in Telecom
  • Ambitious individual who wants to grow into Foreman position or beyond
  • Able to & comfortable climbing over 300 FT
  • Must be able to lift over 50 LBS
  • Ability to Travel out of state 2-3 weeks at a time (Travel Expenses covered)
  • Capstan operations
  • Crane/signaling
  • Steal work (hanging boom, antenna etc.)
  • Shoot azimuths
  • Knowledge of all testing equipment -load hopping and (basic functions of the equipment)
  • Higher understanding of multiple pulley operations
  • Fully understand quality and safety procedures
  • Ability to clearly capture photo images
  • Advanced understanding of Rigging
  • Connector install
  • System testing (load hopping) PIM, ANRITSU, Fiber etc.
  • Coax, Fiber routing/handling
  • Top side and bottom side grounding
  • Cad welding

  • Physically able to climb 1000 vertical feet per day
