Functioned as IT Project Coordinator managing and implementing all projects and all budget planning for the IT equipment for four health clinics. Designed, implemented, assessed, and sustained the integration of new technology and software solutions for long-term care. Developed and maintained common IT strategy across entire facility to ensure technology is sufficient to meet organizational healthcare goals and patients’ needs.

Coordinated with corporate office to manage projects and streamline implementation of radiation oncology enhancements, including IMRT and IGRT. Managed LINAC installations, including Varian and Siemens, along with the management of PET installation and utilization.

Installed and configured PACS on a radiology X-Ray system and worked with doctors and nurses for the implementation process. Provided help desk support for all PC problems, software installations and updates, troubleshooting calls, and new PC/printer installation.

International Wire Group, Inc., El Paso, TX 2002 - 2006

IT MANAGER / PROJECT DIRECTOR

Provided IT project management and operational support initiatives for four manufacturing facilities, including AS-400 and 100+ PCs in a LAN environment. Implemented optimal practices for new technology acquisitions for the Southwest.

Implemented and oversaw projects to include Inventory Barcode Scanning for our distribution center, VOIP installation and configuration, CITRIX migration, and increased speeds on label printing producing a major cost savings for all four facilities.
