Participates in resource planning and scheduling meetings, and assists the team chief/designated alternate in planning the utilization of personnel and equipment to meet the workload demands. The nature of the work performed requires, as the primary qualification requirement, quasi-professional competence in electronics engineering to include extensive knowledge of and proficiency in the use of various transducers, signal conditioning equipment, telemetry, networked DAQ devices, and DAQ software.
Extensive knowledge and experience in BGAN, Inmarsat, VSAT, LAN/WAN technologies and Satellite systems including Blue Force Tracker. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and configuring typical JMICS equipment consisting of 2.4 meter Tri-Band SATCOM terminal; VTC suite; PC workstations; National Secure Telephone System (NSTS), VoIP , and Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) telephones in a self-contained mobile system on an M1113 Expanded Capability Vehicle.
