Managed Cell Site OSP construction of over 300 locations in Eastern PA. Duties included Management of construction contractors, Engineering Firms and Dark Fiber providers. Assisted with contracts for Dark Fiber. Managed Splicing and Maintenance window operations. Tracked Permitting operations and managed escalation where necessary. Performed Field Engineering when required. Inspected finished work and approved final invoice packages with as-built drawings. Reported to higher Project management for corporate reporting. Forecasted engineering, permitting, construction, splicing and OTDR testing. Also created a Customized Database for tracking all tasks, centralized and web-enabled on a SharePoint platform. Development was completed in an MS Access platform. Created and maintained Sharepoint sites for individual customers, including the database, libraries, project e-mail boxes, work flows, and more. Maintained all Tracking and reporting information for use by customer project managers and executives.

Project Manager

Managed telecommunications projects in an area cover the western half of PA and Western NY State. Was responsible to material purchase, subcontractor services purchasing, profit on projects, timely execution of projects. Projects included, but were not limited to bringing additional fiber to cell sites, installing upgraded equipment at cell sites. Aspects of position included white-lining paths, one-call notification, flagger force service requests, and more.

Project Leader

Lead multiple projects simultaneously for the Services Engineering Productivity group. Projects were of a technical nature to increase profit margin of Service Contracts while ensuring proper process flow is followed. Duties included project scoping, costing, schedule management and others. Value of the projects worked in the 1 yr contract term are scheduled to save approximately $15mil over the life of the service contracts. Utilized Access database to identify potentials, and track usage reports for actualization of savings. Tracked progress of projects. Presented projects to stakeholders via prepared presentations detailing the various aspects at different stages of the projects.
