I graduated from Hennepin Technical Institute in their architectural drafting program in the late 80's. I worked in that field for a number of years, owned and managed my own drafting and design company for 10 plus years. When the residential market slowly faded I transferred my expertise and started working in the commercial drafting field and slowly developed into the construction management and estimating realm of that industry. Two years ago I decided to go back to school to officially earn my certificate as an estimator/project manager at Anoka Tech. Soon after graduating I accepted a position working as an estimator at Lampert Lumber in their commercial sales division. I really like my role as an estimator there but the sales departments growth within the company's commercial division are down, the money is tight, and my short term future is not very promising.
With that being said, I'm looking forward to developing my skills and having an opportunity to grow my career in a successful company such as yours.
Thank you for your time.
