Tower Technician II

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tower Technician II to join our team. Carrier - TMO, Market IA/NE, Equipment - Nokia.

This role involves working at heights to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications towers and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both 4G/LTE and 5G technologies, along with hands-on experience in field service operations. Duties

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment on towers.
• Operate bucket trucks safely for access to elevated work areas.
• Climb towers as necessary to perform inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Conduct low voltage and high voltage electrical work as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Perform welding tasks when needed for structural repairs or modifications.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on-site.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of service activities.

Experience required:

• Proven experience in telecommunications installation or maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with 4G/LTE and 5G technologies is essential.
• Experience operating bucket trucks and performing bucket operations safely.
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus.
• Previous field service experience is advantageous.
• Ability to climb towers safely and efficiently, demonstrating good physical fitness.
• Welding skills are a nice-to-have but not mandatory.

SALARY CALCULATION before tax:

Experienced tower tech - $22-26 /hour

Top Hand - $27-35 /hour
