Description

JHC Ventures is looking for a dependable and experienced Tower Technician III (Top Hand) to join our team. This role is critical in supporting the Tower Foreman to plan and complete site builds while leading crew activities to ensure high-quality execution and safety at every cell site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Leadership & Execution: Complete advanced work on towers at height while maintaining a strict, constant focus on safety protocols.
  • Site Coordination: Assist the Tower Foreman in planning and completing site builds according to established schedules and budgets.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all installation outcomes meet client requirements and company expectations for time, quality, and safety.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate technical reports and deliverables as defined by the client.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the proper use of tools, equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
  • Inventory Control: Assist in managing the inventory of materials and equipment for installation and dismantling.
  • Technical Support: Identify technical failures and coordinate necessary corrections in the installation.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve installation issues proactively to avoid deviations from the project plan or budget.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidelines and hands-on training to team members regarding installation and safety procedures.
  • Policy Adherence: Maintain full compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in similar telecommunications roles.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a focus on Telecommunications or Electronics is preferred.
  • Certifications: NWSA Telecom Tower Technician 1 Certificate.
  • Safety: Must maintain current certifications in OSHA (10 or 30), CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, RF Awareness, Rigging, Climbing, and Rescue.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to climb towers daily and lift/carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
