Duties and responsibilities include daily monitoring of new cell site locations within the “ROW” or right of ways for Mobilite/Sprint new macro, and micro site placements. Work with site acquisition, and zoning in order to place sites in the most cost effective, least hostile environment for ratification as soon as possible. Provide guidance to my team in accordance to Mobilitie’s direction and constructability as per ROW agreements.

Responsibilities include design, and supervision of LTE sector antenna upgrade installations as directed per vendor’s modifications. Review customer specifications, and direct the contractor in the repair, or advise modifications of current tower work before installations start.

Provide contractor with clear, and concise documentation of all items needing repair or modification on tower, or site compound.
Ensure contractor is in compliance with all mandated OSHA safety, and training requirements, and review all certifications of climbers, and necessary harness climbing safety equipment. Immediately shut down all cell site installations by contractor when discovering any major OSHA violations.
Quantify daily, and weekly with contractor regarding any modifications which could cause service affecting outages to other carriers that are co-located on the tower, or roof top for no service outages. Ensure contractor has all contact information for entering site compound, and monitor their compliance with informing the tenant, or tower owner of any scheduled entrance to the area to be worked on
Notate all work daily by taking pictures of all phases of tower, coax, TMA’s or antenna configurations as needed, noting contractor’s progress or non-progress, and discuss with contractor any discrepancies noticed as per vendor documentation. Determine a plan of action with the contractor to bring any non-compliant items into a compliance in a timely manner.
Continue to review scope of work to ensure all contractor, and subcontractors are following ASP’s with no exceptions. Populate site tracker on daily basis, discuss with contractor, and subcontractor regarding any milestones needing to be expedited in order to ensure all aspects of the construction phase remain on target.
Consult with contractor, and vendor on a daily basis with any feedback or schedule changes, data freezes which could affect site deployment deadlines, or priority sites needing to be expedited in certain clusters.
Arrange final review and schedule site walk with contractor, and verify site punch list is documented with photographs noting all tower, coax, and cell site civil work is completed, and no quality issues are needing to be addressed. Ensure all site close out packages including pictures, and PIM test documents are submitted on time to the vendor in accordance with vendor’s site close out criteria.

Manage, and monitor approximately 35 employees including, but not limited to installation, and integration of new cell site builds, and modification of existing cell site installations. Mentor, and train new teams to handle day, and night integrations, develop new plans, and strategies for current deployments, and daily rescheduling of new integrations based on construction implementation progression.
Attend numerous conference calls and meetings regarding restrictions of deploying cell sites in sensitive areas of development. Work closely with site acquisition team to negotiate new and existing leases, provide equipment documentation regarding electrical upgrades needed for cooling of additional equipment to be installed.
Review loading capacity of new BTS, and battery backup cabinet’s loading requirements, revise as built drawing’s with new electrical loading specifications to construction engineering group. Job responsibilities included management and training of five Field Integrations Engineers for the timely completion of Sprint’s PCS, or roll out of Sprint Telecommunication’s Venture. Sprint’s first PCS venture and national project rollout as the Wireless Implementation Manager.

Construction and implementation of Northern Telecom BTS radio units into service. Other duties included were, site selection, and preview of new, and existing cell site locations.
Daily conference calls with corporate discussing milestones to expedite in order to ensure a network layout with minimal construction delays.

Responsible for Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Oklahoma new cell site construction.
Preview of cell site property, and recommendation of land lease, and other parameters which involved access, and easement which was then passed on to ALLTEL’s real estate department.
Provide guidance, and adherence of corporate cell site grounding standards.
Monitor construction access and easement to as per Alltel standards.
Construction of cell site shelter pad, delivery of building.
Review tower construction, and correct antenna orientation as per engineering requirements. Monitor testing, and compliance of vendor regarding concrete test cylinders for structure and foundations.
Monitor the timely delivery of TELCO, or T-Span installation at the site, ensure new transport delivery is installed on authorized right of way, and coordinated with tower owner. Ensure no outages occur during the new installation to existing equipment, or other tenants in the compound area.
Perform final punch list, and review with general contractor, review, and advise of items not in compliance, follow up, and verify rectification of any discrepancies.
Work with local operations team to perform RF performance, and call processing for service.
