Duties: Project Manager for 56 radio sites that serve as communication hubs for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Program in New England/Houlton Sector.
Involving the duties of: Arrange for material purchases and delivery to radio sites
Manage access to restricted areas for subcontractors to perform services and deliver supplies such as Propane (LPG).
Work with state of Maine and E911 services to set up Job Hazard Analysis program for 56 of the CBP and State radio sites throughout Maine. Operate remote telemetry devise called a NetGardian 832A to monitor B-Tech Battery System, Liebert UPS Back Up Power, Eltek V Series Rectifiers as well as LPG levels and generator functions at sites.
Perform site access repair work on intrusion detection and alarm sensors for CBP and the State of Maine radio sites.
Perform electronic diagnostics and repair on communication equipment.
Tune and optimize Motorola VHF Quantar Transceivers with the use of a Motorola 2670 Service Monitor. .

Duties: Coordinate with the FPS HQ Radio Program Manager to standardize the programming of all subscribers and fixed infrastructure. Maintain National Radio Code Plugs and archives for subscriber equipment and fixed infrastructure in accordance with FPS Headquarters National initiatives. Co-ordinated with the federal inventory control specialist to maintain an accurate detailed inventory of radio related equipment. Deploy for national emergencies to support communications for the DHS / FPS across the nation. Perform custom programing of mobile and portable UHF and VHF radios per district requirements within the region maintain 472 portable radios and 112 mobile radios for federal officers and contract guard force. Work with local and national radio agencies to ensure FPS roles and responsibilities are being met without compromising the integrity of the radio infrastructure security and or operation. Program Mutual Aid and Regional Area Multi Band Integrated Systems (RAMBIS) frequencies into federal vehicles and train regional officers on the use of the systems. Coordinate with regional personnel and complete the annual Preventive Maintenance for portable radios. Maintain communications equipment in the four states that make up Region 6. (KS, MO, IA and NE) Execute radio site maintenance, renovations and cleanup to include hazardous waste and debris per local ordinances and EPA standards.
