Here I was started as just a hand and then moved to lead. We were doing both Verzion and Sprint Tower upgrades from the tower top to the shelter. My responsibilities included all need for close out packages to pass. Installation, line guiding, support, weather proofing, bolt marks, azimuths, down tilts, plumbs and close out photos were all things I was responsible for taking care of. I learned how to install both of the technologies and know them like the back of my hand. Also here my foreman taught me how to test the jumpers with the Anritzu and save them for the close out packages.
ID Consulting Solutions 7/13-8/14:
At this company I was hired on as a lead hand. I learned a great deal about responsibility and leadership here. I was responsible for learning AT&Ts specs as they changed and making sure me and my green guys kept up with them. I became very good at teaching new guys the basics of safe and effective work on the tower top. From being one-hundred percent tied of at all time and using all our gear properly, to weather proofing and correctly making connector heads (etc.), I was told by them that I was a very good teacher. I got very close to becoming a foreman here; I was even doing some of the close out packages for my boss when he was swamped.
