I began apprenticing 3 days ago with a local company. I am working towards my osha 30, and am undergoing tower climber, rescue, and CPR training in house. I am attending an online teleconference course offered by Daniel Wong in one week, titled 'lte to lte advanced and beyond'. I can send a photo of myself upon request, I am at a public library and don't have one with me. I didn't come here looking for a job with you. I typed in 'top tower climber certifications' to google and clicked on this result because I wish to learn more about how to reach the top pay grade asap in this line of work. I learned I need $5M insurance before I 'really' begin to work. After I gain a year or two of experience with this company, I wish to join a larger outfit involved in nation wide, and global, tower installations construction, maintenance and upgrades, so I can see what Europe, China, South America, Middle East n Africa look like from 300-1500 feet above ground.

I was given an opportunity to climb a 300' tower to see if I would enjoy it (roughly 3/1/2015), and if I'd be qualified for potential hire. I did enjoy it. Then my previous career became unviable due to a relocation, and I decided to start a new career in the position who's availability I had earned by having what it takes to climb. I have apprenticed for 3 days(5/1/2015-today, 5/6/2015). I hope to reach top pay grade asap. Online I read that's as much as 76K/year.
PS I have no intention of leaving my current company for at least one year, probably two.
