Worked on Google FTTH OSP design verifying make-ready with Construction Mgr and field engineers. Ability to read, intrepret, implement Google FTTH applications and schematics. (BSTCAD,OSPCM). Documents all Google OSP field work completed and coordinates to Google OSP Mgr. Detailed understanding of Google OSP engineering & construction process including OSP/ ISP placing, and splicing. Responsible for identifying issues along fiber backbone regarding installation and construction of fiber OSP design. Confirms all underground vaults and LCP locations and fiber cable placement. Documents all prints and records to tablet of existing backbone fiber cables. Reports to Project manager with all issues pertaining to backbone and construction .

Responsible for performing specialized technical duties in the repair, maintenance, and installation of various fiber optic networks maintained and built by Zayo Communicatiions and AT&T in Atlanta Metro Area. Responds to emergency and non-emergency service calls regarding all aspects of maintained fiber optic networks.Perform manhole and handhole construction,fusion/ribbon splicing, distribution changes of the OSP fiber optic cables.Knowledge of the standards, materials,techniques and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of OSP fiber optic equipment.Skilled in the operation of specialized maintenance, test, and fusion/ribbon splicing equipment.Knowledge in operating specialized test equipment and ability to interpret test results and understanding loss measurements. Documented all splicing information and providing to appropriate personnel. Install, Terminate, Test and Service all fiber optic equipment that equates to customers premises and all equipment necessary for the delivery of the fiber paths or routes. This includes all equipment; both dark and live fibers between the core network and customer demarc locations. Troubleshoot commercial circuits at the direction of CNOC or NOC engineers to resolve issues such as but not limited to low levels, loss of signal issues. At the direction of Commercial NOC, Commercial Design Engineers, or Commercial Network Engineers, I troubleshoot and maintain proficiency in trouble shooting techniques and the use of test equipment such as optical power meters, EXFO OTDR testing equipment. Also assist with the installation, service and maintenance of core switches,routers, and other related equipment as necessary and directed.
