Work I preformed AT&T upgrades. We did 2c, 3c, and 4c installs. We installed Lucent in BAWA and Ericsson in Richmond market. Turf vendor was Jacobs. We had to install DC 12, DC2, and run liquid tight from RU to Junction boxes. Sometimes we installed a new squid for trunk power and fiber. Then run liquid tight from squid to DC2. When we installed antennas we used both 3z and sun sight AAT tools. We also set rets using CCU. Jacobs did not require sweeps and pims. They also did not require fiber testing.
On the ground sometimes we had to install FC12 then go from that to power cabinet. We installed Telco flex from breakers to ray cap to FC12. For fiber we ran from control unit to FC12 to trunk. Sometimes they used a DC 12 instead of a FC12. The difference DC12 has power connections. Trunk fiber passes through straight to control unit, FC12 has power and fiber connections. You run jumpers from FC12 to control unit. Or Ray cap. In Richmond market we ran trunk fiber from squid to DUS. No junction boxes.
Then we were Crown Castle preferred vendor.
T- Mobile installs were mainly L700. We had to sweep jumpers and antennas. Sometimes coax. We fiber test trunk and jumpers to Ru. AAT antennas and set rets. Big thing T-Mobile had 12 different scenarios. We did no Sprint work. We did a couple Verizon upgrades. Sce certified me in ENSA (tower safety cert.), RF awareness, CPR & First Aid and OSHA 10.
Company has major management problems. In the last 3 months. Office went through 3 construction managers. Down size HR staff and office staff. They closed offices in other markets. They just laid off tower side and closed DAS side. I was laid off.

We are installing DAS systems for ATC. I have been responsible for. Install all equipment in main cabinet. Sweep and Pim coax lines segments. Then Sweep and pim system which may include 5 antennas and 3 splitters. The sweep test have to be a dual screen. Which it contains DTF and return loss on one plot. Testing DAS system is a lot more then cell sites. With all the components involved. I have been splicing fiber. 12 lines per tray. I have been working with the EXFO test gear. To test fiber. It lets you know what your connectors are testing at. Then gives you an overall loss for the line. I have been managing up to 3 crews on installing the system in building. Keep track of ever access panel they install. To damaging any parts of the building. I have learned how to splice fiber and test fiber. I learn how DAS system works to integrating them into the network. The DAS system is very complex to cell sites. This work is in office building and malls. You have to keep a clean appearance and stay well manner. You meet building managers every day to go over. Location of antennas to access in private areas. You have to be able to read and follow blue prints and MOPS. Draw up red lines on prints. Install the cabinet equipment you have to follow the mop set up .Cabling up these cabinets take a lot. With all the fiber coming to running cables to all the cards it takes.

I started this job in Atlanta GA. We clear AT&T alarms. Before AT&T accepts site it has to be alarm free. We would clear all alarms.. We then were awarded the contract for Verizon. That was installing Lucent equipment to Verizon for AWS. That is where I became Lucent installation certify. .At first I was foremen for installation crew. Then they moved me up to sweep and pim Antennas and lines. We used 40 watt Kaelus pim equipment and E model Anritsu. We also needed to RTF pim system.
