TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

HSE Director / Field Superintendent

Provided decisive leadership and direction for high volume field operations, crude oil hauling activities, and customer service.
Responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of the health and safety strategy and management systems.

Provide guidance, assistance and advice to onsite staff, through interpretation of Company HSE practices and procedures in relation to current legislation and regulations.
Conduct Risk Assessments, establish root causes of incidents to prevent re-occurrence, ensuring that corrective actions are adequate, ensuring that investigations and reporting are implemented according to company procedures.
Develop & ensure the competency of personnel in the identification and control of hazards & risks on location by actively engaging, influencing and persuade all operational and support functions to deliver an integrated, pragmatic approach to safety.
