Over the years working different jobs I have been fortunate to obtain various skills. T-mobile was a job in which heavily relied on sales although I treated my pawnbroker experience and bank teller as one too. In sales I found out that actively listening to the customer was half the battle. Product knowledge was key. Having a well understanding of the product made it easier at the point of sale. After T-Mobile my work experience shifted to more physicality. Wal-Mart Distribution introduced me to using machinery such as pallet jacks, forklifts, squeeze clamp lift. AT&T was different yet I learned to involve my previous skills. In AT&T I learned to install home and business internet, whether it be DSL or Fiber. Learned how to use and install cat5/cat6 and its components. I was one of the few techs that knew how to install IADs used to for PBX phone systems. Learned to use 3M fiber kit to terminate fiber ends and JDSU meters to scope. Transcore tuned my technological skills a bit further. Through Transcore I learned to install and configure cameras, read ip schemas, also installing hard drives and reconfiguring them so they can obtain programs that were essential for the job.
