In my position I support operational maintenance activities and troubleshoot Network Broadband and Video services. I also interface with Network Engineering for troubleshooting, acceptance of new systems and new services. Work with vendors to resolve complex network or equipment problems. My other main responsibilities are to support MSOC for second tier diagnostic, troubleshooting, and issue resolution of escalated video circuit anomalies. Proactively manage integrated Intelsat One, DVB, I Direct, TMT, and Video services to address areas of weakness as well as provide preventive and corrective actions. Provide detailed reports on system downtime and carrier circuit performance. Participate in on-call schedule with other Level 2 System engineers.
