Over years of turmoil and changes, it has been my interpersonal and leadership skills that have made me endure. The deployment of nearly countless projects has been made possible by my abilities to communicate (often virtually) with my peers, upper management and workers. Though my years as a manager, I have maintained my technical aptitudes thought Vendor and Company training events. I have traveled for these trainings as well as for leadership meetings and also driving to my regional sites. I have managed budgets for materials, equipment and labor for my projects.
I think my knowledge gained though training on the new 15 to 25 foot mounting height mini-cell sites will be directly applicable as manager. I was the project lead for successfully conducting a test with the Wallingford CDMA Switch and the mini Cell. We worked directly with the multiple vendors who produced this first production mini-cell for the New England area.
