Provide tech support, maintenance, maintain, repair and certify Fleet Command AN/SPN 46 (V) 4/5/6 PALS RADAR Systems for US Naval surface, shore and deployed vessels. Perform technical writing to amend, update and revise SOP’s for both field and developmental protocols and systems. Calibrate, align and repair damaged Inertial Sensor assembly, Inertial Navigation Units (INU), electro-mechanical motors for antenna pedestal systems, calibrate and re-align Analog/Digital encoders, re-wire systems to specs IAW TPS/TP SER NO. SPAWAR C4ISR/Naval DoD specifications. Calibrate SATCOM equipment, perform software upgrades, soldering CCA (surface mount & through hole), analyze data encryption FLT messages and repair down systems. Repair C & Ku-Band Feed Assemblies/LAN & BUS peripheral cabling, test fiber, troubleshoot Rx/Tx, ANT, GPS Antenna system, DLM antenna, LSO wave-off indicator modules, Stabilization units, PDP/PDU, Control-Indicator modules VME chassis, circuitry to the component level.
Northrup Grumman Aerospace Systems (Avionics Technician 3)

Maintain, repair, modify and test multiple C4ISR HALE (High-Altitude Long Endurance)/(RATS, Global Hawk/Euro Hawk and Triton ISR-Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems. Perform testing, restoration, repairs, calibration, alignments and overhauls. Review and critique all mechanical/electrical/electronic parts IAW IPC/WHMA-A-620B/J-STD-001E/SPAWAR/MIL-STD 2000. SAP, ISO 9001. Establish requirements and best practice reporting ensuring reliable builds per engineering design. Utilize built in test (BIT), built in Test Equipment (BITE), fault isolation testing (FIT), Simulation (SIM), HTOL, HIPOT cable testing equipment, and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to accurately diagnose, calibrate and repair systems. Currently assigned to building Radio Attenuation Test Set systems for UAV Theatre –Deployed systems.

Perform Depot level assessment, testing, troubleshoot, disassembly, repair and re-test of C4ISR Antenna Pedestal/TV-DTS and sensitive items for Naval surface and shore vessels. Interpret, assess and repair electronic/electro-mechanical components, assemblies and systems to the component level via CMMS, IETM’s TM’s, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and schematics. Calibrate, align and repair damaged Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), electro-mechanical motors for antenna pedestal systems, calibrate and re-align Analog/Digital encoders, re-wire systems to specs IAW TPS/TP SER NO.
