CLIMBING WALL MANAGER
at The University of Georgia Outdoor Recreation Department Athens, GA
•Organize and create employee schedules monthly
•Perform bi-weekly saftey inspections of all climbing wall gear, assessing and replacing as necessary
•Develop and implement comprehensive staff trainings ranging from general policies, proper customer service, safety procedures, and skill development
•Teach technical skills for performing indoor and outdoor rope rescues
•Review resumes and applications, conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
•Act as the intermediary between the climbing wall staff and the UGA Ramsey lead management, relaying calendar announcements and handling disciplinary actions
•Organize the annual climbing competition, UGA Boulder Bash which draws over one hundred partici- pants and raises $1000 for the Southeastern Climbing Coalition
•Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of all staff training, gear maintenance, incident reports and wall maintenance
