U.S Army “Firefinder” Radar Operator May 2015- May 2016
Set up 24 hours 360-degree radar detection of possible incoming projectiles from the North Korean forces. We used the “firefinder” radar which was powered by our mobile generator. All notifications were immediately relayed using our secure radios and computer system to awaiting friendly forces.
Maintained the radar daily by checking everything from superficial damage, electrical stability, checking for encryption enforcement, sufficient amount of fuel, and all-around fluidity. Any deficiencies found would be marked and fixed using the device’s technical manual, up to level 20 operator status.
