I am a geologist and geographer currently working as a post-master’s Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory looking for entry-level work as a tower climber and technician.  I am attempting to refocus my career towards field work as I near the end of my appointment at ORNL, and I believe that tower climbing would be a exciting field to do so.  Before coming to ORNL, I was employed as a Land Survey Technician and worked almost entirely outdoors.  I have no problem working in the elements year-round.  I also rock climb recreationally, and believe that I would have no trouble adapting to the physical demands of the job or obtaining my climbing rescue certification.
