I am a BICSI-certified ITS Technician and telecommunications project foreman with over 15 years experience. I have a broad and in-depth knowledge of telecommunications cabling installation and equipment, as well as maintains a specialization in structured cabling, testing and design as it pertains to DAS systems.
Recent DAS projects where I have led the structured cable plant installation portion include projects for National Public Radio (NPR), Kaiser Permanente, and the International Monetary Fund.

Supervises the work of technicians on a large job or supervise the entire on-site work force
Assists Project Leaders and Project Managers in job layout and plan of execution
Provides quality-control on projects to ensure conformance of work with BICSI, manufacturer, and industry standards.
Install and terminate ½” coax for inbuilding DAS, public safety and 2way radio systems using Andrew and JMA connectors. Line sweep and PIM test to ensure system quality.
Install Donor antennas for the four major carriers on non-penetrating roof mounts. Grounding and bonding to buildings lightning protection electrode systems.
Installation of horizontal cat.-5e, and cat.-6 unshielded twisted-pair cabling systems. Also includes installation of horizontal coaxial cabling systems
Installation of optical fiber cabling systems and backbone. Related activities include anerobic polish, APC fusion splicing, OTDR, loss testing trouble shooting and testing.
Termination of horizontal cable plants in TRs, MDF, and workstation areas. Also performs labeling of cables and workstation-area outlets. In addition, performs grounding, cable patching and cross-connecting.
Installation of ISP and OSP backbone UTP, fiber, and coaxial cabling, including termination and testing with Fluke DTX 1800.
Setup and installation of telecom rooms. This includes design / installation of head end equipment, ladder rack and cabinet assembly and mounting and grounding.
Perform telecommunications work in highly variable environments, such as offices, cubicles, data centers, auditoriums, lobby areas, outside plant, and rooftops.
Installation of Hilti firestopping systems.
Perform field testing, such as cat.-5e/6/6A certification, power meter testing, and OTDR testing, using Fluke/MicroTest, Anritsu, JDSU and Tektronix testers.
Perform markups of facility floor-plans to enable CAD department to create CAD as-builts
Review completeness and quality of installation work with customer representative in order to obtain customer acceptance and signoff
