and un glorious tasks, such as tight attic crawls and under foundation crawls to pull duct work and wiring
to desired locations. I progressed to do new construction rough in by myself, as well as change outs and
retro fits as the lead installer. Eventually, I sought better pay and moved on to Airwest Airconditioning.
8/ 2002 to 6/2004
Airwest Airconditioning and Heat, Clearwater, Fl
I started as a lead installer here, and quickly gained experience in light commercial construction. Some
of the new construction projects included multi story condos in which I was responsible to run low
voltage wiring and copper pipe, as well as duct runs from ground floors all the way up to 20 + stories. I
also continued to gain experience in old construction retrofits, and change outs. Eventually I sought
more money and better benefits.
6/2004 to 9/ 2007
Climate Design Airconditioning INC, Saint Petersburg , FL
I was hired at this company to be a jobsite supervisor, and lead installer on light commercial new
construction projects. My first project involved a 13 building condominium complex, where I lead a team
of 5 guys, that eventually grew to 13 guys. With the increase in manpower, the company sent me a co
supervisor, with whose help we were able to complete the project in 1 year. I learned every inch of new
construction HVAC with this company. From the blueprints, to revisions , to the first day of duct work, all
the way until the last air diffuser was installed. I was there throughout the whole project. I was also
certified in powder actuated fastener guns, OSHA certified on off road forklifts, and swing stages. This
was the company I planned to retire with. But, the company was turned into an ESOP, and 100m
employees were laid off just before the vestment period was up. I remained until the new installers
numbered about 13. I was laid off due to lack of work available.

9/2007 to 12/2008
Heavenly AC and Heat, Tarpon Springs, FL
I returned to where I learned the trade after the lay off with Climate design. As a lead installer, I assisted
the other leads in new construction HVAC at a town center shopping mall. Again, I was involved in all
phases, from using a forklift to lift materials up to the top of three story buildings, to running wire down
chases, to ductwork, to final trim and low voltage wiring. I was again laid off due to lack of available
work, after the contractor of the shopping center failed to pay all the subs and bailed out on several
contractors.
8/2008 to 6/2013
Web Direct Brands, Odessa, FL
This was perhaps my favorite job until present. Although the pay was minimal, I was doing something
different, and challenging every day. I was hired to work part time as a maintenance mechanic, which
involved the owners “ project of the day”. I could be doing autobody work on his Rolls Royce one day, or
building solar powered gate operators the next. Eventually , after my layoff from Heavenly, Web Direct
hired me full time, as a sales person. Sales at Web Direct are much more than taking orders on the
phone. We also offered online tech support to our customers, and did hands on repair to defective
equipment. After some time I requested to be moved to the shipping and receiving department to learn
more. In shipping I learned how to create BOL’s, and work with FED EX and UPS online, as well as other
freight companies. Part of my duties also required me to assemble automatic gate openers into
customer packages, as well as making some of our imported items , such as GSM enabled intercoms,
more user friendly in the USA. This involved some rewiring and translated user manuals. I also used
pallet pickers, articulating forklifts, pallet trucks, and standard fork lifts every day. But, with minimal
benefits, and low pay, I sought more.
6\2013 to present
Presently I am a self- employed painter. I sub almost exclusively for Mountain Painting in Hayesville , NC.
My wife’s uncle is the owner. I saw it as a great opportunity to learn something new, but as a sub, I have
no benefits. With a young family, I am seeking benefits, so, again , I seek.. for somewhere I can spend
