Tower Technician – Top Hand

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tower Technician Top Hand to support wireless infrastructure projects across the United States. This role involves extensive travel, hands-on installation and maintenance of telecom equipment, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong field experience, technical expertise, and a commitment to teamwork and safety.
Location: Tennessee State, Central market (Nationwide travel)
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday (weekends and overtime as needed)
Weekly Hours: Typically 40–60 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform wireless equipment installations, retrofits, and maintenance on towers, rooftops, and pole-mounted sites
• Follow technical plans, construction drawings, and project specifications
• Participate in daily safety briefings, job planning, and site evaluations
• Identify and mitigate job site hazards in compliance with safety protocols
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines
• Operate RF and fiber testing equipment (Anritsu, OTDR, PIM testers, etc.)
• Complete daily reports, time tracking, and project close-out documentation
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper working condition
• Assist in incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions

Physical & Work Requirements

• Willingness to travel nationwide for assignments up to 8 weeks
• Typical schedule: Monday–Friday with potential for weekends, overtime, and night shifts
• Work 40–60 hours per week depending on project needs
• Ability to climb towers up to 500 feet and lift 50+ lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically capable of using climbing PPE and hand tools
• Must pass routine drug screenings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
