A general understanding of today’s telecommunication antenna technologies for the non engineer telecom worker. In order to work safely in an RF environment you need to be able to understand the basic antennas and the patterns they produce, as well as having an idea of the frequencies used.
This course targets specific topics:
- Antenna Gain and Beam width
- How Antennas work
- Antenna Gain and Loss dBi, dDd, dBm
- Wavelengths and frequency overview
- Panels, Beams, Dish Antennas and how they have directivity and Gain
Course includes trainee testing and upon successful completion of the course the student is able to print a course completion certificate. This course is designed for new hire training and recurrent training of existing employees.
Each student must receive a passing score on the test before they can print their certificate of completion.
