Service, maintain, and operate all shakers, dryers, centrifuges, and pumps used on Oil/gas drilling rigs.

Took daily samples and weight of drilling fluid and completed all reports.
Rig equipment to complete operations for the Oil and Gas Drilling Rigs.
Work shift schedule to make sure that the Rigs were maintained 24/7.
Operate forklift and trucking equipment.
Conduct Retort Lab tests on drilling fluid to calculate percentages of oil, water, and solids.
Perform equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and safety.
Ensure that all equipment and systems are being operated to industry standards.
Operate, monitor and control process levels, temperatures, pressures and flows for applicable utilities, processes and systems in a safe and efficient manner.

Regularly attend and actively participate in safety meetings, identifies any safety concerns to supervisor, reports all incidents and assists in investigations.
Perform emergency operations activities as needed.

Knowledgeable regarding the drilling fluid system (i.e. drilling mud, it’s components, and each components function), the impact of low gravity solids (LGS), and primary techniques and systems used for drilling waste management.

Knowledgeable regarding drilling rig types, rig components, rig component functions, drilling operations (i.e. drilling, tripping pipe, running casing, cementing, completions, etc.) and the drilling fluids circulation system.

Able to explain proper grounding techniques (Offshore & Land operations as applicable) and the risks associated with wiring motors for high and low voltage for electrical equipment.

Safely perform startup & shutdown of Solids Control equipment as listed but not limited to: shale shakers, hydrocyclones, centrifuges, solids control pumps, screw conveyors, etc.
