Hired to establish HR department for group of veterinary hospitals with 3 locations (Cary, Raleigh, and Durham) and 220 employees. Orchestrated daily HR functions and supervised Training and Development Manager and HR Specialist. Counseled leadership on employee engagement and performance matters. Collaborated with executive team throughout implementation of business plans and led change management initiatives to bring transition in operational, technical, and strategic aspects of the organization. Drafted and instituted policies/procedures and ensured compliance with necessary employment laws.
