I worked Nation Wide projects and rollouts, New Construction and Remodel projects. Perform site surveys for all new cable and voice projects. Installed all new Cat5e cabling and Fiber Optic Cabling and voice cabling, Terminated and tested with fluke cable cert. Work with prints and store planning teams to place cable in proper locations for department moves. Installed Motorola SC4812’s, SC4812T’s and preformed an EVDO upgrade for existing 4812’s
For Nextel. Added D.O. cards and M.A. cards as well as SC2450 and other equipment when needed. Preformed integration for newly added equipment when required. Ran power meter test (Hewlett Packard 4636) and spectrum test. Sometimes had to troubleshoot with assistance from the bridge. Upon finishing job, preformed directional call test and hand-off test assure cell site is working properly.

Cellular installation tech
Installed batteries, power plants, battery racks and Telco racks in cellular environment for Verizon and Cricket. Ran cabling for power, grounding, AC wiring, alarm and signal cable. On most jobs had to perform a “hot slide” in which we installed a temporary power source to enable us to switch the old equipment with the new equipment in a hot or live environment seamlessly. Also preformed test for generator, heat, entry, and equipment failure alarms. Worked in south east and south west part of U.S.
I did climb working at this company off and on at around 80ft to 120 ft. Worked as a site safety officer as well in this position, Worked on all JSA paper work as well as preforming all site safety audits for the crews and the company on a weekly basics. Gave in house safety training for FA/CPR/AED. I was in Charge of all Record Keeping, Incident Reporting Training and instructing all employees in keeping in compliance with corporate safety policies.
