Experience
H&H CONSTRUCTION
JANUARY 2016 – FEBRUARY 2017
While working for H&H I have done framing, roofing, HVAC, duct work fabrication, insulation, sheetrock, electrical wiring in new homes. The homes we worked on were newly built homes in Osprey Cove and Cumberland Harbor in St. Mary’s GA. We worked on multi million dollar homes. Perfection was a must. No one wants to pay over a million dollars for a new home that isn’t exquisite. Above I have listed a few things to give you an idea of our general duties but, we basically did it all.
MASTEC NETWORK SOLUTIONS
JULY 2015 - JANUARY 2016
While working for Mastec in Anchorage, AK, I did new site builds, and upgrades for AT&T. I installed cabinets, Antennas, and RRU’s. I ran COMMscope, powers, and fibers on towers, and rooftops. I did weather proofing, ran CAT5, and installed equipment inside shelters, as well as troubleshooting. Also I did PIM sweeps, fiber sweeps, and CSR removals. Also I ran a Cathead winch and have done basic rigging. I’ve worked on self-support, mono poles, rooftops, and guide towers. I have a DOT physical card, OSHA 10, and completed my competent climber and rescue course. I find tower climbing very rewarding. While doing this job I remain safe and productive. I always inspect my equipment, and I am always sure to be safe, and tied off 100%. I have worked on towers from 65ft. to 400ft. I did tape drops and close out photos.
BYRD’S WELDING AND REPAIR
MARCH 2009 - JANUARY 2015
While working for Byrd’s welding and diesel repair I was a fabricator, welder, and diesel mechanic. I worked on a large variety of heavy equipment. Including logging equipment, trucks, trailers, and tractors. I have replaced and repaired just about everything on a semi-truck. For the last two years of my career I ran my own fleet truck. We built log trailers from the ground up. We also rebuilt, transmissions, motors, gear boxes, clutches, and rear ends. With this job came the responsibility of creating new work and clientele, I also had to get the work done in a timely matter, and keep up with my own books, and paperwork.
Education
GED 2011
OKEFENOKEE TECHNICAL COLLEGE
VOLUNTEER AND LEADERSHIP ABILITIES
I am a husband, and father of two. I volunteer as much as possible with our school system, and community. I do anything I can to help, and improve their lives, and the lives of others. I always try to lend a helping hand, even if it does not benefit me. Being a husband, and parent is my strongest leadership ability. You always have to be willing to listen and come up with a solution to every problem. It also requires a lot of patience, respect, and teamwork! This has made me a better person and a very strong team player in my work life. I am always looking forward to anything I can do to improve anything that needs improvement at work, in the community, and home!
