I worked as contractor performing day to day duties for Merrill Lynch in its data center and on the trading floors. Installing switches, and servers, shelf, and rack mount. Run cabling fiber and copper to support that equipment. Perform end to end testing to ensure proper connection. Installed LAN packages using cross connect, copper, and fiber whips.
Break down traders’ computers for moves and setup at new locations for use as it was at old location. On most projects I worked as lead technician, using 2 to 4 technicians.
I performed duties in central office, installing power cables, wire wrapping, and building cabinets. Ran and test copper and fiber cables to complete installation for cellular switches.

I Installed programs, and troubleshoot Nortel key phone systems, interviewed customers to ensure proper configuration. Run terminate, and test cat 5 voice and data cabling.
