Use of DMM, Oscilloscope, Frequency generators, Break-out box, resistors, Step-up Step-down transformers, Decade boxes, power supply’s, Azimuth/inclination/pitch/roll test stands.

Documenting and recording all work with job number, S/N, R/O, Status boards. Trained in implementing lean manufacturing techniques.

Tests electronic equipment using a written procedure.

Uses multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment to measure voltages and waveforms.

Troubleshoots test failures to component level.

Required to write failure reports.

Required to write test procedures.

Identifies common failures based on troubleshooting.

Read schematics to assemble circuitry.

Receive, count, inspect, label, and store incoming inventory.

Keep accurate records of material received through data entry techniques.

Issue material to jobs for assembly.

Order material when supplies are designated to be below sufficient levels.

Northland Telecommunications 05/2007-02/2008

Troubleshoot associated systems for connection issues.

Install cable/internet/phone services, with limited or no supervision.

Lift/carry ladders, and hand tools up to 50lbs

Run drop lines, which include RG-6/11 and fiber optic

United States Air Force 08/2001-03/2007

Over 6000hrs of OJT on aerospace communication/navigational equipment

Test, operate, repair, associated UHF/VHF/HF radios.

Maintain and Load, Identify-Friend-Foe codes for real world engagements. Requires Secret clearance.

Use multi-meters, oscilloscopes, Time Domain Reflectometers to identify open, shorted, interference related wiring issues.

Deploy to High Stress environments with aircrew to maintain and repair Communication/Navigational equipment in battle zones.

Was recommended for class leader in FTAC by panel of peers and supervision.

Created physical competency course for Mopp4 Chemical Warfare contingency.

Received outstanding unit of valor with bronze leaf for active engagement in operations: Noble Eagle, Iraq Freedom, Enduring Freedom.

Troubleshot and repaired HF radio system in combat environment, resulting in transmission of coordinates for operations.
