Work History__________________________________________
12/2016- Present Tech II/ Tower Hand
Ramapo Comm Corp.
Ramapo Communications has recently taken me back as a tower hand and is growing further since I was last employed. Steady Verizon Direct upgrades and fresh builds. As well has having been COMTRAIN certified for rescue training they have now implemented Gravitec rescue training certifications. My position has been promoted since I was last employed and looking to make me a Lead climber. This is not a foreman position but the main climber on a crew for rigging and mounting and installation of fresh equipment on upgrades and builds.

09/2016-12/2016 Tower Hand
Tower Resource Management
This position was a standard cellular communications tower position. The main client was AT&T combiner swaps and microwave builds in remote locations of VA and WV. The skills I picked up while working at TRM included proper ways to work with elliptical cable without damaging but keeping the axis plane true from base to dish. As well as peaking and aligning a dish of average sizes. As well as conforming a job to the tedious and demanding specifications that AT&T wants on their sites. I was laid off from this company due to being the newest employee on a very professional crew with a place that could not maintain steady work for each employee. At times I joined the civil crews just to keep me working but towards the end of the year someone had to be let go. Unfortunately it was me. References from this company are available upon request.

08/2016-09/2016 Installation Technician
Longmont Roofing and Window Treatments
Currently installing blinds for a contractor out of Sykesville. MD. Short term employment with a small business owner. Duties include managing, scheduling, logistics and employing help for Maryland board of education contracts as well as West Virginia hospitals for installation and finishing. With little to no training, I have been forced to learn trial by fire and have had minimal issues solving problems on the fly. I have learned how to adapt and overcome any obstacle thrown my way and still meet deadlines without getting frustrated at situations beyond my control. I took this position to stay employed while looking for steady work in my field of experience.

03/28/2016- 08/2016 Cable Technician
Mastec- Authorized Regional Contractor for DIRECTV, Hagerstown, MD
Cable technician for Mastec included constant customer relations on a daily basis as well as being able to inform any consumer concerning their home cable system for satellite television. Mastec provided superior training on home installation techniques. While working there I became a registered SBCA installation technician. Basic duties included: pole installation or roof mounted bracing for outdoor units/dishes, bonding and grounding systems, cable running. and network configuring. Additional duties: Troubleshooting and system upgrades, re-running fresh cable through wall fishing and reading system diagnostic codes.

10/2014- 03/2016 Tower Hand
Ramapo Communication Corps, Eldersburg, MD
Tower climbing as a greenhorn to this field starting in early winter was intense training for a technician. Climbing helped me shine through my work ethic. I did everything I could to learn and grow from this experience. Dealing primarily with GSM, CDMA, AWS and PCS technologies, I worked directly for Verizon with some contract work through Ericcson via T-mobile as well as Sprint and AT&T sites doing decommissioning to over hauls and upgrades, trouble shooting and any other necessary work. During this time Ramapo did very little tower erecting and structural reinforcement upgrades.

07/2014- 09/2014- Lead Contractor/Owner
Taggart Contracting Services-Leesburg, VA
After leaving Home Depot, Leesburg, VA I decided to start my own residential repair/contracting services. I used my Navy and personal experience and knowledge gained from other careers to help. High profile clientele of the city often needed larger jobs, I hired employees and managed their work in a crew of 3-10 depending on the project scope. Also included project specifications and product lists. I was extremely detail oriented and created my own project SOW. I was preparing to move to Maryland to get licensed as a class C and B general contractor however, currently am not licensed.

01/2013-07/2014 Sales Associate/Lead Generator
Home Depot-Leesburg,VA
I started at Home Depot after returning from Michigan in January as the Sales Associate in the Plumbing department. I was already experienced in home plumbing. After going through training, I was quickly the #2 lead associate in store and in my department I was following suit behind a 10 year veteran of the store as well as a current plumbing contractor of 20 years. I began to look for more responsibility and became involved in neighboring departments. Management noticed my drive and promoted me to a side position of store oriented project generation. As a Lead Generator my responsibilities were to work with clients to start, coordinate and help to finish projects in the residential field. It included everything from project designs of kitchens and bathrooms to fencing and decking builds and more. I worked with contractors to help take their measurements and order the needed product as well as the client for special order delivery and shipping.
In October of 2014, the Lumber and Building Material departments needed associates so I volunteered to switch positions in order to gain access to Forklift and Reach truck Operator, I then helped the department which was lacking a Department Head, organize and get the departments in shape and ready for Regional and District inspections.

Securex/Smarttouch-Columbia, MD
Securex/Smarttouch is a company run out of Columbia, MD that does exclusively high budget work in the residential/commercial A/V and security system field. Our main product for Audio Visual was Savant and our main Security company products were Honeywell and the new Simon panels and switches. We worked anywhere from the Eastern Shore of MD and Delaware to George Town, D.C, and Eastern VA. Myself and two other technicians were required to meet very tight deadlines and complete the job in a top notch manner, this included learning to program systems on my personal time to upload to systems as well as troubleshoot issues with systems when they arose. We interacted with clients in a professional manner and that lead to fantastic relationships after project completion. I was also trained in the Savant systems and on Cisco's Network + program however have not yet gone for the certifications currently due to leaving the company. I left Securex for personal reasons relating to family and could not continue stay with them due to relocating.
