Three short but successful years serving as a fire fighter. Responding to over 100 calls taking part in life saving actions. Ensured the safety and protection of life, property, and natural resources.

Took lead in the creation of a cadet education program providing the youth of the community and opportunity to experience a career in the fire service resulting in the recruitment of highly motivated and trained individuals.
Proved a wealth of knowledge around rope rescue to my own department and partner departments, as well as providing local fire service professionals formal classes on the technical skills of rope rescue operations.
Responsible for inventory and organization of equipment for my areas Swift Water Rescue Team while serving as technical advisor for all aspects of rope systems within the team.
