Maintain guidelines and train on all equipment, services, and emergency procedures within Security Operations, demonstrate a continuous effort to improve Security Operations.
Liaison with Surveillance and Security Department Management and staff, and CNE employees, as needed and directed.
Knowledgeable of most current MICS and MICS updates. Demonstrate familiarity of control for every CNE Department and position throughout the hotel areas.
Actively monitor security and other radio traffic, and responds as necessary.
Monitor calls on incidents for officer safety, and emergency situations such as bomb threats, fire, robbery, severe weather, and other types of situations.
Ensure Security Operations by maintaining logs concerning daily activities, equipment malfunctions, access to Security Operations, and other items as required.
Ensure monitors and system equipment is operating properly. Ensures camera checks are made and reports conditions of the equipment, and status of cameras, and digital recording equipment to the Surveillance Department.
Ensure all important incident information is being passed on to assist with other Security Supervisor or acting, Supervisors or Managers of other departments.
Maintain strict confidentiality and standards of conduct concerning security matters.
Ability to make well-reasoned decisions, remains calm in high stress situations, and focus on the task at hand with considerable distractions and extraneous information.
Work as a team member to achieve department goals, fulfills security mission statement, and meet overall business objectives of CNE.
Ensure all logs are kept for 60 days on hazards and elevators problems; to assist in showing trends of problems.
Ensure Security Operations is concentrating on non-gaming activities while on duty.
Visually observe incidents and request surveillance to send feed Security Operations to be viewed live and gather information to assist officers on the floor.
