Power Generator Technician, 04/04 to 07/09

Awarded Generator Technician position at the culmination of 12-week basic training and an additional 12 weeks of intensive, specialized Power Generator training. Supervised and performed direct and general maintenance on tactical utility, precise power generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated items of equipment. Previously supported battlefield operations and provided area/convoy security during overseas assignment in Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom) while also maintaining support power generation equipment. Division tasking to supervise the Division Generator Reset Program and to lead the reconstitution effort. Execute and supervise final quality control technical inspections and minor on the spot repairs for all generators returning from depot support level maintenance facilities, CONUS, and general/direct support level maintenance facilities on island (BAE,DOL). Also responsible for Load Testing Generators in accordance with TB 11-6115-xxx-24. Process unit supported maintenance work orders, equipment and repair parts. Accountability and serviceability of assigned equipment, tools, and maintenance uniform.
