Executive in charge of purchasing, manufacturing, quality control, engineering, logistics and distribution and new product introduction for Simplex.
Recruited by COO to lead restructuring and rebuilding effort of company’s 660,000 square foot manufacturing facility resulting in business successfully competing with offshore suppliers.
Managed 10% cost reduction per year over five-year period.
Designed and taught management advanced learning classes.
Implemented all new warehouse management system yielding 40% operating cost reduction.

CHRYSLER CORPORATION, Auburn Hills, MI 1987 – 1996
Top three American automobile company founded in 1930’s. During 90’s Chrysler instituted company-wide rebuilding and revitalization of product design and vehicle development.

Platform Executive (1993 – 1996)
Part of small, dedicated team that spearheaded successful design and introduction of LH vehicle line (Concord, Intrepid, 300M). Innovative approach positioned Chrysler as strong competitor in car side of automobile business. Managed over $400M in capital spending over two-year period.
Executive in charge of advance manufacturing and engineering for three automotive assembly plants, which became Harvard Business School case.
Spearheaded major retooling program, including manufacturing feasibility, processing, tool design, and construction, plant installation and assembly plant commissioning and launch.

Managed all gauges and checking fixtures for stamping, sheet metal assembly and purchased parts for all Chrysler product lines.
