Manages a team of badged installation technicians in the installation of wireless networks in federal building across the United States.
Acquires materials and tools for installation as well as booking accommodations for team.
Tasked with contacting customers, tracking status of shipments and maintaining proper methods of installation at facility.
Tasked with bidding on contracts and providing accurate costs of said bids.
Daily activities include: Notifying team members of current SOPs and upcoming changes; knowledge to team members and technicians to strengthen overall team capabilities; adding or moving devices based on predictive surveys; performing post installation surveys; configuring WLC; conducting software and hardware installations and upgrades to meet compliance and security standards on Cisco AP’s;
Ensured all work was conducted in accordance with existing SOPs, OSHA polices and within the scope of the contract.
