As an I&R tech, my duties are working with Prism TV and DSL high speed internet installs and trouble tickets in the Las Vegas area and Nellis Air Force Base housing and dorms. Install CAT5e, CAT6 and COAX Cable Drops meeting EIA/TIA standards.  Install ISP Single mode and Multimode Fiber cables ranging from 2-144 strands meeting EIA/TIA standards. Climb telephone poles to complete necessary connections, repairs, and test or replace faultily wiring. Program routers and modems for bridge mode and static IP’s. Terminate Fiber Optic GPON networks. Experience and knowledge using OTDR, CD/PMD, OLTS, ORL, SC, ST, LC style connectors and Fusion splicing machine in addition to all other commonly used tools and test equipment. 2010 to 2012 KBR (Kellogg Brown and Root) Houston, TX / Network Tech in Iraq

Performed testing using a OTDR meter on multimode and single mode fiber and fusion splicing. Installation of SCADA system and grounding in MDF and IDF rooms. Installation of cabinets, ladder rack systems and cross-connections. Perform all duties working on the state of the art City Center Project in Las Vegas.

2006 to 2008 EMBARQ Las Vegas, NV I and R Technician / Full install PC Technician

Two years of experience installing phone and DSL lines in homes and offices.
