Supervision includes over 200 area technicians, with 18-25 direct subordinates who engage in the installation, rearrangement, removal and/or repair of station inside wiring terminals in connection with High-speed services. Responsible for managing correct time reporting, vacation scheduling, all safety training including climbing, ladders, hazards and other state required courses. As well as the installation, repair and testing of network terminating equipment at the customer premise and handle customer escalations, for both Directv and Att Uverse services. Interact with other work groups including sales, construction, engineering and outside plant, to ensure timely resolution of service issues and lead service improvement teams as assigned. At&t is a union based company and a large part of the Manager job is to meet with and work alongside the union officers to ensure a safe and fair work environment for our employees as well as conduct investigations and handout discipline based on findings of contractual deviance.
