I oversee the EHS program, making sure that we are in compliance with OSHA and our ISO 9001 Quality management systems as well as ISO 14001.

I am the administrator for our respiratory protection program, making sure employees are physically able to wear a respiratory and perform all required trainings.

I perform air sampling throughout the facility, monitoring employee’s exposure to Arsenic dust. Making sure they stay well below allowable limits set forth by OSHA.

I am in charge of all government filings. TIER 2 reports and TRI reports annually.

My responsibilities as the RSO was to monitor radiation dose rates for personnel exposure. Under my watch exposure levels remained well below the allowable limits.

Some of the tasked I was responsible for where; Weekly Radiation Safety inspections, implementing safe work permits, controlling exposure dose rates by issuing RWP’s, Verify potential ingestion of Uranium through a Bioassay Program, performed air monitoring for Radon, Scanning Trucks for Radiation contamination, and assisting with environmental water sampling. I was a member of the ALARA committee as well.

I was the administrator of the Respiratory Protection Program; this would involve monitoring employee’s health (yearly Spirometry and Hearing tests).
