Axis Teknologies May 2013 – January 2014 Senior Technician – Crew leader
Tower and ground site inspections and audit inventory for AT&T engineering.
CM civil installs LTE and UMTS for AT&T. Installed Eltek cabinets, Mini Purcell cabinets, 48 volt cabinet, DC 12, and DC 6. Run new power from existing AT&T 240/120 VAC 200 AMP AC panel for new sub meter. Test, turn up, and troubleshooting alarm systems. PT-2730 label all equipment.
LTE Sprint Samsung builds, installing BTS cabinets, RRUs and antennas. Run AC power and Telco. Install new antennas, color coded and weather proof jumpers. Installed and terminated OptiFlex Hybrid Cables set azimuths and sector antenna downtilt.

Fiber Tower August 2006 – January 2013 Senior Technician – Wireless Deployment
Project management of the new build out of the backhaul project for Fiber Tower’s Tampa market. Supervised subcontractors using specific designed project plans, verify construction standards, completed the testing and turn up of 215 microwave sites ahead of the expected time line for service delivery and migration to T1 backhaul for AT&T, Sprint, Metro, and T Mobile.
Responsible for the Fiber Tower Tampa network. Perform all planned preventative maintenance work in accordance with Fiber Tower’s policy and procedures. Work with the NOC to verify circuit testing and monitor the network.
Perform all PM’s on site cabinets, diagnostic testing, documentation, maintenance, and isolation of network faults associated with RF microwave, Fiber optic, T1’s, and Ethernet. Review and monitor all system performance reports, scheduling necessary actions to avoid system degradation and customer service interruptions.
Installation, provisioning, IP configuration and device management within network monitoring applications for the following equipment: FLEXR GT & Netsmart 500 for Fuji 4300 & 4500, Adtran 6100 & 2800, Accedian, PMNT, PMNT-J for NEC OC3, DS3, and NLiteE radio’s. Installation and commissioning for the following equipment BTI Netstender, Huawei, Nortel, CeraView for Ceragon, Rad router, GarrettCom Ethernet switch, and Accedian TE-SH, TE-R, & GE-R NIDs
Employ the following network tools for day to day operation, Apollo data base, Granite WO, and Siterra tasks. In addition utilize Remedy to accurately record all trouble ticket, maintenance task, and RMA equipment.
Responsible for planning and direct line-of-sight surveys with my team to determine suitability and scope of work for microwave and fiber deployments at network cell sites.
Link and network reliability, maintained market expected availability each year and for the past two years as the number one market with 99.997% availability.
Managed the Ethernet deployment projects for Metro and T Mobile, Ethernet switch configuration, protection and VLAN test and turn up. Install Ethernet equipment for the delivery customer specific bandwidth and CoS.
Support Facility Engineers with circuit migrations of OC3, OC12, and OC48. Installed new modules to test and validate the dark fiber path prior to the cut over. Assist by verifying protection switching on the BLSR, path protection, and on a 1+1 protection group. Record the circuit’s status before and after the maintenance activity. Run scripts in TL1 command prompt or SONET. Fujitsu 4300 & 4500 node insert into rings for OC3, OC12, and OC48.
Travel as to support other markets during DRP and service delivery. Provide on the job cross training to other team members and contractors.
Disaster recovery implementation & restoration experience restoring networks after Hurricane Ike (2008 - TX) Assist Northern senior field operations manager with disaster recovery efforts after hurricane Sandy by taking notes and updating the Apollo Q388 report. Managed the disaster recovery bridge overnight, deployed staff, and provided real time updates to senior management staff.
