Responsible for Mig, Tig, and Stick Weld applications. Cutting, fitting, and fabrication of target systems, and the Grizzly armored personnel carrier. Worked directly with the DOD and H&K. Specialized in armor plating and Gun Turrets of the 50 and 30 caliber. Follow job safety as required by MSDS, OSHA, and local codes.

Colonna’s Ship Builders- D1.5 Certified Welder xxx-xxx-xxxx

Responsible for welding Mig, Tig, and stick of ferrous and non-ferrous D1.5 structural components in all positions aboard the Eagle, LSV-4, tugs, the Stanton Island Ferry and various barges. Work primarily performed in confined spaces and through various pipes and other objects. Operate in a safe manner according to MSDS and OSHA specifications. Keep area clean and neat in order to please the client and avoid fire hazard situations.

Reinforced Towers to include U-bolts, welded sleeves, removal and placement of sub horizontals, pull guy wires, removal of existing guy wires, plumb and tension. Supervise 12 individuals, and work in close relations via phone, internet, and in person with engineers. Read and Interpret blue prints to build and plan accordingly. Take pictures, fill out daily reports, keep spending log and fill out reports, as well as maintenance trucks.
