Five years of management experience for a squad of 9 Soldiers, 2 years experience as a Platoon Sergeant of 60 Soldiers, Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers. I have deployed twice and had to make the correct decisions under high pressure situations. This helped enhance my experience in management and motivating others. Received Purple Heart, and 1 Army Achievement Medal for performing jobs above my skill level and out of my job description. Maintained 100% accountability of over $2,500,000 of military equipment with no losses.

COMMUNICATION      I communicate effectively so that everyone understands and is informed. I have held Battalion and Brigade training meetings, and have established training for 250 Afghan Army, position traditionally held by a higher rank. I was awarded this position because of my thoroughness in meeting deadlines, professionalism, and ability to communicate to higher chain command.

LEADERSHIP  I have been a Platoon Sergeant of 60 men and women as a Sergeant which is a position held for two ranks above me. I have been a Squad Leader as Staff Sergeant of 9 Soldiers. My ability to lead others with respect is uppermost in my qualities while accomplishing the task as safe and as effective as possible.
