AEA Technology, Inc. products provide test solutions to a variety of industries and applications where complete impedance analysis and accuracy are important. Our VIA Echo Vector Network Analyzers lead that product line. Designed into a 2.2lbs (1Kg) battery powered, hand-held package for portabilty they have ranges up to 1.0GHz or 2.5GHz. Some models incude a Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter, and Frequency Domain Reflectometer. The VIA Bravo series Vector Network Analyzers come in a similar battery-powered package to cover the lower frequency ranges from 100KHz to 200MHz. Both have PC Vision software for documenting test results.

For quicker and simpler to use antenna analysis we have a range of economical SWR and Return Loss Meters to cover frequency bands from 100KHz to 999MHz. These instruments also have optional PC software.

Our line of Step Time Domain Reflectometers (TDRs) has the widest variations in markets from CATV and Telco to Nuclear Power Plants, Aircraft, Mining, and even the "Project IceCube" at the South Pole. The latest version is the E20/20 Step TDR. This model is a product of studying our customers practices and requirements for six years with it's predecessor, the 20/20 Step TDR, and applying what we learned to make it simpler to use and produce even better test results. In 2011, AEA Technology, Inc. in partnership with Exelis won a US Navy contract to produce a Hand-held Aircraft Wiring Tester (HAWT). Our new E20/20 TDR fit the requirements, vastly exceeded the Navy's specifications, withstood a year of extensive lab and field testing. Now in the "Acquision Phase" it is being ordered in the hundreds today by NAVAIR. Its commercial counterpart the E20/20 TDR Avionics Kit quickly gaining recognition with the aviation community, particularly in the MRO market and at Boeing and other aircraft manufacturers.
