AmeriCRANE was founded by Steve White and Tom Harwood in 2002. The two met while working in the crane industry in San Antonio. Steve started in the industry by operating cranes at age 21 followed by experience in all aspects of the crane rental business. Tom has an extensive background in heavy equipment and crane rentals and is responsible for the financial activities of the company.
After years of honing their skills, the entrepreneurial spirit bit. It led to a meeting of the minds between the two friends and the subsequent launch of AmeriCRANE. As Steve puts it, “It’s been a rewarding and amazing ride ever since. We hire the best employees in the industry. Our motto is ‘Take care of our employees, and they’ll take care of our customers.’”
