• Supervised and assisted subcontractor technicians and tower crews in installation of Alcatel MPR 9500 Microwave equipment in AT&T Mobility West Virginia/Virginia market

AT&T/CINGULAR WIRELESS   Field Engineer                            September 1995 to August 2007

• Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the South Florida cellular network, including base station maintenance, antenna fault resolution, customer service issues and assisting engineering group with RF planning and site construction.
• Extensive experience working with all aspects of telco including installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of DS0, T1 and DS3. Worked closely with network switch technicians to isolate, troubleshoot and repair T1 issues that caused network problems or outages.
• Maintained and installed Alcatel, Harris and Northern Telecom microwave equipment. Assisted in planning, coordinating, and implementing a complete redesign of the Broward/Dade County microwave network.
• Trained and supervised technicians in all aspects of Ericsson UMTS, Nokia GSM and Ericsson/Lucent TDMA equipment, test equipment, and related T1/DS3 testing and acceptance.
• Coordinated with RF Engineering Department to optimize and integrate new UMTS, GSM and TDMA sites into existing network.
• Experienced with Remedy Trouble Ticket system and Granite Database.

USAF Microwave Equipment Technician                                            April 1984 to March 1988

• Installed and maintained mobile and fixed microwave communications systems.
• Troubleshot and repaired tropospheric scatter and line of sight analog and digital equipment.
• Performed and documented preventive maintenance and routine maintenance inspections.
• Worked as part of a survey team planning mobile microwave deployments, positional set up, and equipment installation.
