Overall responsibilities to work with prints, process sheets and shop instructions and knowledgeable of
punch and die clearances.

Responsible for forming and perforating material. Use square, micrometer, caliper, scale, hand and
power tools, hand truck and crane and will assist in loading, unloading and movement of material.

Responsible for determining project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required
methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.

Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, according to drawings or
templates, using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers. Maneuver completed units into
position for punch.

Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and
bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.

Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand
tools and portable power tools.

To properly utilize and operate appropriate material handling equipment.

To operate any auxiliary machines as assigned.

Responsible for own set-ups and inspection of parts produced.

Parts must be made to print and process specifications.

Responsible for all safety rules, operator preventive maintenance, producing quality workmanship, and
for good housekeeping in and around the work area.

Completion of all associated paperwork and record keeping as required.
