Antenna Products Corporation (in conjunction with prime contractor BAE Advanced Technologies) designed and built the antenna system for the world’s largest antenna array — the HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) array in Anchorage, Alaska. This high-power HF phased array was composed of 180 directional antennas supplying 3.6 megawatts of RF power, built on 33 acres and able to temporarily energize areas of the ionosphere.
