The ideal candidate brings experience in telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, low-voltage construction, project management, or business development and is comfortable working across both the commercial and operational sides of the business. This role will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, designers, estimators, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop project opportunities involving Cellular DAS, Public Safety DAS/ERCES, Wi-Fi infrastructure, RF systems, and venue wireless solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, venue operators, developers, general contractors, consultants, MEP engineers, wireless carriers, and industry partners.
- Manage opportunities from initial customer engagement through proposal development, award, project kickoff, execution, and completion.
- Participate in client meetings, site walks, construction meetings, industry events, and other business-development activities.
- Work with internal design, engineering, and estimating teams to understand customer requirements and develop appropriate project scopes and solutions.
- Assist with proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, technical presentations, and customer-facing project documentation.
- Manage assigned In-Building and Venue projects, coordinating with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and customer expectations.
- Review construction drawings, architectural plans, and project requirements to identify constructability concerns, pathway requirements, equipment locations, and installation constraints.
- Monitor project scope, schedules, material requirements, risks, changes, and overall project progress.
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout project execution and identify opportunities for follow-on work, system expansions, maintenance, monitoring, and additional services.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability and willingness to work in person and travel to project sites, client meetings, site walks, and industry events as required.
- Ability to participate in active construction-site walks and project inspections.
- Ability to work effectively in office, client-facing, and construction-site environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, customer relationships, priorities, deadlines, and opportunities simultaneously.
- Ability to review and interpret construction drawings, architectural plans, technical documents, and project specifications.
Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, low-voltage construction, project management, business development, or a related field.
- Experience with DAS, Public Safety DAS/ERCES, Wi-Fi, RF systems, fiber, structured cabling, or large-venue telecommunications is preferred.
- Previous project management and/or customer-facing experience is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across customers, engineering, design, estimating, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Experience with iBwave, wireless design platforms, or venue telecommunications systems is preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of Cellular DAS, Public Safety DAS/ERCES, Wi-Fi, RF infrastructure, fiber, structured cabling, and related wireless technologies is highly desirable.
